Z7 years. head master of the free grammar school in this town and Rector of Sulhampstead, Berks., ob. 26th April 1822 aged 56, also Mrs. Ann Waller his widow and one of the neices of the late John Ward, Esqre. 19 years. deputy sheriff of this county, she died 26th August 1826 aged 50.

Beetham (W). Here lie the Remains of William, Mary and Elizabeth, Son and daughters
of William and Elizabeth Ward Formerly of Haverbrack. Also Elizabeth wife of
William Ward Who died I. at Mill Lane School, Old Swan, West Derby, near
Liverpool February 22d 1830, Aged 69 years. She was a diligent, faithful, loving
Wife; A tender, indulgent Parent ; A sincere Friend; and a pious Christian.
She lived an example worthy the imitation of her Sex. Her Husband erected
this Stone As a Testimony of Gratitude to her Memory. Also of William Ward,
Husband of the above who died the 23rd day of January 1853 at 69 King St.
Whitehaven Aged 90 years. , for 27 years. Gardener to the late Daniel Wilson Esqr.,
of Dallam Tower, and 30 years. Master of the National School, Old Swan, near
Liverpool.

April 15th 1750. Margaret Ward his wife born Decbr. 18th 1693 died Decbr. 31st
1770.

Arms on 5 shields, (over arch). i Chequy, fess (Clifford); (dexter) ii. fess between 6 crosses (Beauchamp) impaling 6 annulets 3, 2, I, a crescent for difference (Musgrave), iii. Musgrave (without crescent) impaling cross flory (Ward); (sinister) iv. maunch (Wharton) impaling lion rampant (Stapleton). v. on fess 3 cushions (Warcop of Smardale).*

Lowther In sure and certain hope of a Joyful Resurrection. Here resteth the body of Ann Ward, who departed this life May 6th 1825 in the 26th years. of her age. Blessings attend the dear departed shade; We loved her living and lament her dead; Though she is gone her memory shall remain, Our loss, we hope, is her Eternal gain.
Orton (E. altar tomb). In memory of the Reverend . Anthony Ward, Vicar of Eastrington in the East Riding of Yorkshire and son of Thomas and Eliza Ward of Orton. He died at Eastrington Oct. 26th A.D. 1840 aged 52 and at his own request was interred here; he was a man of meek and kind disposition, a pious and sound divine. Mary Ward his widow and eldest daughter of the Reverend Robert Milner, Vicar of Orton died the 25th September 1854 and was buried here aged 62.
