Burton In Kendal (N. cross and rails). William Powlton late of Lancaster, at rest September 23, 1872, Mary Gillbanks, born September 8. 1831, passed away June 12, 1867 "he giveth his beloved sleep."

Grasmere (N. with paschal lamb). In memory of Margaret the beloved wile of Juhn Gillbanks, West Head, Wythburn, who died April 9th 1853 aged 59 years. also of Joseph their son who died November 18th 1856 aged 32 years. "Take ye heed, watch and pray for ye know not when the time is." St, Mark xiii 23.
