In memory of Ann Greenhow, wife of Thomas Greenhow of Kendal who died 27th January 1815 aged 49 years. , also of Jane their daughter who died 30th March 1803 aged 8 years. , also of the said Thomas Greenhow who died at High House, in Stainton 14th January 1838 aged 78 years. , and was interred in Independent Meeting House, Stainton, also of James Greenhow, only son of the above Thomas and Ann Greenhow, who died 9th February 1858 aged 50 years. , also of Elizabeth Greenhow their daughter who died the 26th of April 1871 aged 67 years. Also Dorothy their daughter who died August 18th 1876 aged 79 years.

Heversham (E. stone edging). " I will arise and go to my Father." George Relph Greenhow-Relph, third son of John and Ann Greenhow, born at High House, Stainton, 2nd August 1807, and after an active, happy life died at Beech Hill nr. Usk, 7th February 1880. Also Anne Greenhow-Relph the beloved Wife of the above born 24th July 1803 and died at Beech Hill nr. Usk 12th October 1885.

John Greenhow, born at High House, Stainton, July 1st 1799, d. at Anchorites House, Kendal, March 22nd 1873, Ann Greenhow wife of the above and daughter of John Openshaw, Pimhole, Bury, Lancashire, born February 20th 1798 and died at Anchorites House, Kendal January 22nd 1874. John Openshaw Greenhow eldest son of the above, born at Overfields, Bury, Lancashire, March 9th 1827, died at Anchorites House, Kendal, September 25, 1877.

He exemplified the belief of pure Christianity by a uniform practice of the Duties it inculcates. Also of Thomas Greenhow an Infant, who d. in September 1796. Also of Ann Greenhow, Wife of the above John Greenhow who d. 27th Day of May 1847 Aged 74 years. She was an humble and faithful follower of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Cuthbert Relph, Son of John & Ann Greenhow died August 7, 1837 Aged 25y. He was buried in the Presbyterian Chapelyard,Bury, Lancashire. Jane Hawkes their daughter died Sep, 29, 1847 Aged 37 y. Her body rests in the Parish Church yard Kendal.
