In loving memory Jane, wife of John Swinglehurst, she was a good, trustful, loving Wife and mother, born at Preston in 1821, married at Bolton in 1844, she sailed round cape Horn with three children in 1855 and after visiting the coast of Peru returned in 1859 with her husband and five children to England and for nearly twenty five years. spent a sweet and peaceful life at Hincaster House, where she bore a short but severe illness with exemplary resignation until on the 22 August I883 the Lord took her into everlasting rest.
