Kendal (In brass, Bellingham chapel). Here lieth interred Benjamin Fenwick Esq. a worthy Descendant from the Antient Family of Nunriding in Northumberland who died November the 15th 1752 in the 84th years. of his Age. This laudable Gentleman truly zealous and firmly strenuous for the Glory of his Prince and the Good of his Country spent sixty years. in the Marine Service, with unblemished Honour, and undeviating Fidelity. As a just Reward of his gallant Actions, His Sovereign gave him the Command of a man of war. In that important Post He fought the Enemies of Great Britain with intrepid Courage, meritorious Conduct, and memorable Success. Mrs. Lambert, his Niece, ordered this Inscription as a solemn Testimony of her great Regard to his merit and gratefull Affection for his memory.


Kendal (In. chancel, floor). Sacred memory of Miss Ann Lambert of Kirkland who departed this life 19th day of February A.D. 1839 aged 72 years. (Mr. Jennings).

Kendal (In. Bellingham chapel, N). Here lie the Remains of Mr. Josias Lambert of Watsfield, who died the 4th of November . 1753 aged 60 years. He was an affectionate Husband, a tender Parent, and a true Friend. Arms (above) chevron gu. between 3 lambs, chief chequy ar. & az.


Kendal (In. Bellingham Chapel, N). Here lie the Remains of Mrs. Mary Lambert, Relict of Mr. Josias Lambert of Wats-Field by whom She had 8 Children. She died the 3d Day of April 1760 Aged 65 years. She was a prudent and careful Wife, a tender Parent, and a respected Neighbour.

Sacred memory of Richard Winfield who departed this life the Twenty seventh day of November MDCCCXX Aged Seventy nine years. and of Mary Winfield his Wife who departed this life the Twelfth day of August M DCCCVI Aged Sixty three years. I n grateful remembrance of their affectionate Parents this Monument is Erected by their surviving descendants. (2.) In the Chancel of the adjoining Church are deposited The Remains of Beatrix, Wife of Josias Lambert and daughter of Richard and Mary Winfield who departed this life the Tenth day of November MDCCXCM Aged Twenty Eight years.


Kirkby Stephen In memory of Agnes wife of Harry Gough (late of Manchester) who died November 19th 1814 in the 30th years. of her age, after a painful illness which she endured with exemplary patience & resignation. Also of Mary Lambert her mother who died at Crosby-Garret, August 22d 1825 aged 66.


Musgrave (E). In a. m. Mary, Wife of James Lambert of this Parish who died October 6th 1866 aged 65 years. Also of James Lambert husband of the above who died March 28th 1875 aged 75 years. Also James Lambert Stringer grandson of the above who died May 1st 1871 Aged 17 years. Also of Louisa Agnes Stringer grand-da. of the above who died November 20th 1873 aged 18 years.


Musgrave (E). In memory of Mary wife of William Lambert of Longriggs who departed this life December . 14th 1831 aged 47 years. Also Mary daughter of the above, who died January 4th 1837 aged 15 years. Also William Lambert husband of the above who departed this life June 28th 1850 aged 56 years. Also Thomas son of the above William & Mary Lambert who died February . 9th 1859 aged 39 years.


Warcop (S). In memory of Robert Lambert of Burtergill who died December . 1st 1875 aged 73 years. Also Alice his Wife who died July 16th 1878 aged 80 years.

George their Son who died May 16, 1833 aged 24 years.
