Kendal (N. W). In Memory of George Richardson Stubbs eldest son of George & Ann Stubbs of Kendal, born January 25th 1838 died November 1st 1843. Suffer little children to come unto me & forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Luke 18 Ch. 16 v.


Orton (N). i.h.s. James Stubbs died April 1st 1837 aged 77 years. Betty his Wife died July 26th 1843 aged 77 years. Thomas youngest son of the above died December 26th 1879 aged 70 years. James son of Thomas Stubbs died March 30th 1863 aged 24 years.

In memory of John Stubbs who died 18th January 1862 aged 84 and Agnes his Wife who died 1st December 1856 aged 71 and John their Son who died at Masongill 11th January 1843 aged 32 and George their son who died at West Ward in Cumberland April 16th 1871 aged 59 & Agnes their daughter who died at Liverpool November 25th 1843 aged 26. And John Thompson Stubbs their Grandson died at Ellergill January 2nd 1854 aged 4.
