Kendal (In. N.E). Near this stone lies the body of Christopher Wilson late of
Kendal, who died August XVII MDCCCIV aged LXXIII. also Margaret his wife, daughter
of Thomas Parke of the County of York, Esqr. died July IInd MDCCCXI aged
LXXXII. (Per Mr. Jennings).
Kirkby Lonsdale (W. altar tomb). Near this Place are deposited the Remains of Thomas
Tiffin of this Town who departed this life the 31st Day of January 1787 Aged 63 years. Also
Under this Stone the Remains of Sarah his Wife who departed this life the 15th Day of
April 1805 Aged 67 years. Also John Robinson, Son of the late Thomas Robinson of
Low House in the Parish of Tunstall, Grandson of the above Thomas Tiffin who
d. at Liverpool, November l0th 1818 Aged 27. Also the Remains of Thomas
Tiffin, Brother of the above named John Robinson who departed this life at Liverpool the
12th Day of June 1825 Aged 32 years. Also the Remains of Mary Robinson, Widow of
the above named Thomas Robinson of Low House who departed this life on the 4th Day of
August 1831 Aged 68 years. Also John Hyde Robinson Parke, Son of Rowland Parke
of Leck and Grandson of the above Mary Robinson who died the 3rd day of March
1834 Aged 14 Memory of
