(N. aisle). Sacred memory of the Reverend . John Waller A.M. Z7 years. head master of the free grammar school in this town and Rector of Sulhampstead, Berks., ob. 26th April 1822 aged 56, also Mrs. Ann Waller his widow and one of the neices of the late John Ward, Esqre. 19 years. deputy sheriff of this county, she died 26th August 1826 aged 50.

(E). I. h. s. In Memory of John Waller of Hartley, Westmorland, Who died February 5th, 1863, aged 62 years. Also of Agnes his wife who died at Kirkby Stephen, February 2nd, 1881, aged 78 years. Also of Christopher Waller their son Who died Sept. 28th, 1845, aged 20 years. Also of Richard Franklin Waller their son who d. March 5th, 1846, aged 3 years.

(W. flat tomb and rails). Sacred memory of the Reverend . Bryan Waller A.M. for 36 years. Vicar of this Parish, B. June 1st 1765 died August 17th 1842 also of Jane, Relict of the above who Died on the 22nd of September 1873 aged 71 years.

Waller Burton In Kendal

Richard Waller late of Lancaster, died September . 16, 1814, Æt. 81, Eleanor his Relict, daughter of William . Atkinson of Haverbrack, died March 4, 1817 Æt. 75, and were here deposited. William Atkinson their younger son died at Port Morant in Jamaica October 17, 1804, Æt.36, Where he was Interred. Their Surviving Son When Vicar of this Parish Erected this Pious but Frail Memorial A.D. 1819.

Waller Kendal

S. m. Samuel Milton, late of Highgate, linen merchant, he died on the 2lst day of March 1803 aged 73 years. Also of Ann. his wife daughter of Mr. George Waller of Kirkland, late Town Clerk of this Burgh. She died the l8th day of April, l799 aged 77 years. Lucy the youngest daughter of Samuel and Ann Milton, died September l0th 1766 aged 15 years. (Mr. Jennings' copy, 1861).* * This black marble monument on freestone base, and a white marble slab let into the centre, was protected by iron palisades, and stood at the E. of the church against the outer gable of the Bellingham Chapel. Part of the base and all the rails were removed in 1850-2, and on the gable being rebuilt in 1869, the monument fell to pieces. (Mr. Jennings).

Near this stone are deposited the remains of John Waller of Winton Town Head, yeoman, who died April 3, 1788 aged 53, & of Sarah Waller his eldest & beloved daughter who died unmarried June 12, 1812 aged 41. "Thy will be done." And of Margaret his wife who died January 24th 1828 aged 85, and of Margaret Whitelock daughter of the above who died April 17th 1858 aged 84.
