Cooper Appleby St Lawrence

(S. W). In memory of Thomas Kersey, yeoman, of Colby, who died June 21 1835 aged 45 years. Mary Ann his Daughter who died February 12 1850 aged 33 years. Sarah his daughter who. died November 18 1866 Aged 35 years. Also in m. John, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Cooper of Colby who died March 2,1361 aged 19 years. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. Also of the above Elizabeth late Beloved wife of Thomas Cooper who died November 22, 1864 aged 65 years. having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

Cooper Bampton

(S). "The place where the Lord lay." Matt. XXVIII. VI. In affectionate remembrance of George Cooper of Bomby in this parish who died 14th February 1875 aged 78, also of Margaret his wife who died 3rd September , 1878, aged 76. " To be with Christ, which is far better."

(S.) Sacred memory of Robert Cooper, yeoman, of Hegdale who died February . 9th 1849 Aged 77 years. , also of Isabel1a his wife who died Augst. 4th 1846 aged 65 years. , also of James Cooper their grandson who died April 22nd 1849 aged 4y.

As affectionate tribute this memorial stone was erected January 1870 to perpetuate the remembrance of the Hindson family, natives of this county, but who settled in this parish in the years. 1832, & whose remains lie here, resting in hope of a glorious resurrection unto eternal life, viz. Jona. Hindson & Mary his wife. Also William . Hindson their son & Elizabeth his wife & their descendants viz Jane the beloved wife of Thomas Hindson who was born at Lazonby & who died at Rosgill Hall May 9th 1855. Also one of his sisters Jane wife of Thomas Cooper, late of Hegdale. Four of the children of Thos: & Jane Hindson, died in infancy & Mary Ann their youngest was taken to an early rest November 2nd 1869 aged 23 years. leaving many who sincerely & truly mourn her loss, four of her brothers & two sisters surviving her.
