Elyetson Crosby Garrett

(In. S). By the Lady of the manor and patron of the benefice of Crosby Garrett 1882, in affectionate remembrance of Matthew Thompson J.P., died L. of Stobars Hall, born June 15th 1815 departed this life May 9th 1871 this monument is erected by his sisters Maria and Agnes Elyetson. He was one of the kindest of brothers.

Elyetson Kendal

(W). In memory of Jane the Wife of John Emmett of Preston who departed this life April 20th 1847 Aged 37 years.

Elyetson Ravenstonedale

(W. altar tomb, r). Vivit post funera virtus. Here lieth the Body of William Elyetson, Esq., of Scarsykes in this Parish one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Westmorland. He was a Gentleman of good natural talents, a friend to the poor, a promoter of peace and good neighbourhood, and a person of great worth and integrity. He died March 22nd 1814 aged 66. Here also lies buried Nancy his youngest daughter who died Oct. 17th 1814 aged 30 years. Also Agnes his Widow who died at Gate in Dent May 13th I823 aged 78.
