Bousfield Crosby Ravensworth

(N. Transept). This Transept was re-erected A.D. 1872-3 to the glory of God in loving remembrance Thomas gibson of Oddendale, who after passing a long life in the home of many generations of his family, a bright example of Christian living, “pure in heart”, “pitiful”, “courteous”, departed to his rest on the 20th day of June 1869 in his 91 years. He was the eldest son of John Gibson of Oddendale Esquire, J.P. and Ruth his Wife, the former of whom died on the 12th day ofDec. 1828 aged 76. The latter, daughter of Arthur and Margaret Bousfield of Ravenstone dale, on the 21st day of December 1828 aged 77. + The other children of the said John and Ruth Gibson were Margaret, B. May 28, 1780 died Jan. – 1821. Frances, B. May 11 1782, died Dec 3, 1852. Arthur, Vicar of Chedworth Gloucestershire, formerly Fellow of the Queen’s College, Oxford B. Dec 31 1784 died August 7, 1878. John, Vicar of Newbold Pacey Warwickshire formerly fellow of the Queen’s College Oxford B. May 6 1787 died June 23 1867. George, B. October 11 1789, died December 26, 1878. Richard, B. Apr 24 1792, died Aug 25 1880. Michael, B. Jan 10 1798 died Sep - 1835. + My Son hear the instruction of thy Father and forsake not the law of thy mother, for they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head and chains about thy neck. Proverbs Chap 1. Vers 8 & 9. +

Bousfield Kirkby Stephen

In memory of Christopher Harker late of Hartley (Malster) who died December 26th 1826 aged 66 years. Also of Matthew Bousfield Junior, who departed this life on the 2nd of April 1859 aged 25 years. In time of youth with all his promis fair Has sought the grave to rest forever their (sic).

(E). In Memory of Thomas Ladlay of Great Musgrave High Green who died the 8th of February 1838 Aged 92 years. Also Elizabeth his wife who died November 6th 1832 Aged 73 years. Likewise Elizabeth their Grand-da. who died October 11th 1862 aged 32 years. Also Mary wife of William Ladlay who died April 21st 1863 Aged 76 years. Also the above William Ladlay who died July 29th 1873 Aged 87 years. Also of Isabella Elizabeth daughter of Wiliiam Harker, and Tamar Bousfield late of Eden Flat in this Parish who died July 24th 1863 Aged 10 m.

(N). In affectionate remembrance of William Bousfield of Redgill. Yeoman, who died December . 13th 1874 aged 81 years. Also Nancy his wife who died December . 6th 1860 aged 66 years.
