Hindson Appleby St Michael

(N.E). I. h. s. Sacred memory of Hannah, widow of Joseph Hindson who died at Bongate House, July 9th 1881 aged 63 years. "There remaineth a rest to the people of God."

Hindson Kirkby Thore

(S). In memory of Elizabeth Hindson who died May 9th 1821 aged 62 years. , also John Hindson her son who died January 15.1846 aged 56 years. , also Mary his wife who died June 28, 1833 aged 37 years. , also George their son who died May 10, 1833 aged 2 m., also Elizabeth their daughter who died July 9, 1834, aged 3 years. , Also Ann their daughter who died June 26, 1843 aged 26 years.

Hindson Kirkby Thore

(S). In memory of William Hindson of North Ockendon, Essex who died June 5th 1876 Aged 56 years. Hannah his wife died at 74 Nelson St. Carlisle January 18th 1885 aged 56 years. , also of Joseph William son of the above who died April 23rd 1874 aged 7 years. , also of Jane Wagslaff daughter of the above who died February 13th 1880 aged 21 years.

Hindson Shap

(S.E.) As affectionate tribute this memorial stone was erected January 1870 to perpetuate the remembrance of the Hindson family, natives of this county, but who settled in this parish in the years. 1832, & whose remains lie here, resting in hope of a glorious resurrection unto eternal life, viz. Jona. Hindson & Mary his wife. Also William . Hindson their son & Elizabeth his wife & their descendants viz Jane the beloved wife of Thomas Hindson who was born at Lazonby & who died at Rosgill Hall May 9th 1855. Also one of his sisters Jane wife of Thomas Cooper, late of Hegdale. Four of the children of Thos: & Jane Hindson, died in infancy & Mary Ann their youngest was taken to an early rest November 2nd 1869 aged 23 years. leaving many who sincerely & truly mourn her loss, four of her brothers & two sisters surviving her.
