Audland Heversham

(S. altar tomb). + In memory of John Audland of Ackenthwaite in this parish who died March 2nd 1853 aged 82 years. , and of Ellen his widow who died September 5th 1861 aged 83 years. , also of William Fisher Audland died D. their elder son who d. May 3rd 1861 aged 57 years. and of Mary their third daughter who died in Kendal September 20th 1814 aged 5 years. , and also of William Grant Audland their grandson, second son of John and Jane died Audland of Tintern, Monmouthshire, who d. at Ackenthwaite September 9th 1858 aged 2 years. and 8 m. in m. also of Jane eldest daughter of the above John and Ellen Audland, who departed this life May 25th 1880. In m, also of Ellen, youngest daughter of the above John & Ellen Audland who departed this life Septr. 8th 1885, Sincerely regretted by all her friends. " Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."

(Chancel over S. pillar). + Near this place rest in hope of a glorious resurrection the remains of the Reverend . William Fisher Audland died D. senior fellow of Queen's College, Oxford, he died at Ackenthwaite May 3rd 1861 aged 57 years. " Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace."
