Chambre Heversham

(In. chancel S). Sacred memory of the Reverend . Alan Chambre A.M. Minister of Cross Crake Chapel, who died at Heversham May 20th 1800 and was interred near this place Aged 30. (Below) Arms : (or) cross ermine between 4 martlets az., on chief of last serpent between 2 roses of field; Crest, a cock.

Chambre Kendal

(In. N ). Sacred memory of William Sympson 31 years. senior Alderman of this Burgh, & Jane his wife, daughter of Alan Chambre. He died September 18, 1776, aged 78. he died August 4, 1781 aged 83. Sacred memory of Joseph Sympson and Rebecca his wife, daughter of John Miller. Senior Alderman of this Burgh, He died October 31, 1806 aged 76, she died November 21,1781 aged 41.

Chambre Windermere

(S. low altar tomb). Heare Lyeth the Body of Stephen Gurnall Late of Lickbarrow, Batchelour, and teoman who died lo. the 11 day of july 1731 in the 87y. of his age, pro. ye 8th & 13th. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil pride and arrogancy and the evil way and the froward mouth to hate. (Brass). Here lie the Remains of Agnes the Wife of Stephen Chamlay of Lickbarrow who died the 16th January 1796 Aged 69. A Loving Wife and indulgent Mother, A Trusty Friend & peaceful Neighbour; Kind Angels guard this sleeping Dust Till Jesus comes to raise the Just, Then may she wake with sweet surprise, And in her Saviour's Image rise. Here lie the Remains of Stephen Chamlay, Husband of the said Agnes who died the 10th May 1800 Aged 73.
