Winder Appleby St Lawrence

(Brass on stone). Here lie the remains of Thomas Winder, a native of Jamaica, son of Thomas Winder of St. Ann's in that island who died I. November . 15, 1803, vixit annos XI meus I dies VI.

Winder Appleby St Michael

(W. column). In lumine lucem. Sacrum carissimæ desideratissimæque matris memoriæ. Here rest the mortal remains of Frances eldest child of George Harrison, Esq., Whitfield Brow, Eden Grove, Bolton, senior alderman & six times Mayor of Appleby, she was married to Isaac Thompson, well known at Southfield in this parish & after a short but happy life with a devoted husband died at the early age of 43 and was buried under this monument May 3rd 1816, beloved & respected by all who knew her goodness of heart, leaving a large & youthful family to mourn her irreparable loss. Margaret their eldest daughter, born Oct. 30,1803, at Southfield, died at the premature age of 18, from a neglected cold caught in London & was buried here June 22,1822. Their sons Anthony & John & their daughter Jane died in infancy & were buried here. (another side) In lumine lucem, theire daughter Mary born Oct. 1, 1808, wife of Thomas Winder & Ann born February 11, 1813, wife of George Graham the former in London, the latter at Bertie, Canada. Isaac after his wife's decease emigrated with his remaining family & some old attached servants and fellow parishioners to Southfield, Bertie, and died there at a good old age respected by the residents of the whole district. Thus the world's glory passeth away, Their eldest son Reverend George Thompson, Memory of A., of Hertford College, Oxford, and nearly half a century the successful head master of the Grammar School, Wisbeach, paid this dutiful and graceful tribute to the memory of a most charitable and.excellent lady. Winder Askham

(W). Erected to Memory of Elizabeth the wife of Guardhouse Winder of Askham who d. November . 21st 1823 aged 36 years.

Winder Bampton

(S). + In memory of John Winder of Helton Dale who departed this life Janry. 4th 1872 Aged 49 y., also of Mary-Ann his Wife who departed this life October 13th 1857 Aged 28 years. Barbara Ann Winder Daughter of the above B. September . 13th 1853 died September . 12th, 1875.

Winder Bampton

(S. Urn). Sacred memory of Thomas Winder of Bampton who died . l. January 24th 1826 aged 52 years. , also of John Winder of Bampton Grange who died October 9th 1875 aged 54 y.

Winder Barton

(S.E.) In memory of Jane Winder who died November . 6th, 1871, aged 66 years. Also of Henry her husband who died August 18th 1885 aged 81 years.

Winder Burton In Kendal

(N. urn and pediment). In Memory of Thomas Winder Who died at Morecambe Bank, Bolton-le-Sands, Lancashire, on the 2nd Day of March 1872 aged 74 years. Also Charlotte His Beloved Wife Who died at Burton, Westmorel. on the 12th Day of March 1871 Aged 47 years.

Winder Dufton

(In. chancel). Near this place are deposited the remains of William Winder Esqr. who died the 5th day of May 1766 aged 75, his only sister and executrix Mary, the wife of John Blackwall Esqr of Stamford in Lincolnshire caused this monument to be erected to the memory of her dear brother.

Winder Kirkby Lonsdale

(N). In affectionate remembrance of Thomas Winder, born August 26th 1836, died November 21st 1886.

Winder Orton

(N). In memory of George and Elizabeth Winder of Orton and their children. George Winder died the I6th of January 1846 aged 76 years. Elizabeth Winder his wife daughter of Mr. Robert Wilson ot High Scales died the 17th of June 1835 aged 52 years. George Winder their son died the 7th of September 1831 aged 23 years. Robert Winder their son died November . 26lh 1833 aged 19 years. Joseph Winder, yeoman, their third and youngest son died at Bolton-le-moors May 4th 1859 in the 42 years. of his age and was interred here; also in m. Elizabeth Winder daughter of John Whinfield of Raisbeck and widow of George Winder senior who died March 28th 1868 aged 75.
