Boak Appleby St Lawrence

(E.) Have Faith in God. In affectionate remembrance of John Boak who died at Colby February 4th 1868 aged 73 years. Mary his wife who died August 31st 1877 aged 82 years. Also of Joseph Wilson of Colby who died Oct. 11th 1883 aged 70 years.

Boak Asby

(S). Here lieth the Body of John Boak of Wolsingham, in the County of Durham, who departed this life December . ISt 1767, agd 75. (2 lines of verse mostly illegible).

Boak Barton

(S. wall, brass on stone). To preserve the Memory of Joseph Boak of Yanwath Hall who departed this life the 1st of January 1780 aged 74 years. and Sarah his wife who died the 29th of February 1780 aged 64 years. This plain stone was erected by their affectionate son Christopher Boak who was one of eleven children that their industry rear'd to maturity ten of whom married and had offspring. Their daughter Sarah Boak died unmarried the 17th of March 1777 aged 24 years. and with her aforesaid parents lies buried near this place. Funerial (sic) pomp let titled wealth display And marble statues mourn the breathless clay, Sure more of nature was the gushing tear Of circling friends that wept in person here

Boak Barton

(S). In memory of Sarah Hall, widow of the late William . Hall, Wokingham, Berkshire, who died June the 6th 1840 aged 70 years. Also of Thomas Boak of Eamont Bridge who d. on the 9th of September . 1851 aged 72 years. Also of Elizabeth Ellwood of Eamont Bridge, who died on the 17th of September . 1854 aged 72 years.

Sacred memory of Sarah the beloved wife of George Nicholson of Shap who departed life on the 17th day of October 1865 aged 65 years. also of Mary Boak, mother of the above who died on the 18th day of August 1838 aged 68 years. also the above George Nicholson who died December 30 the 1873 aged 77 years.
