Yeats Appleby St Lawrence

(E). In memory of Isaac Sewell, cooper, of Appleby, who died August Ist 1838, aged 32 years. , and of William . his son who died April 9th, 1841, aged 7 years. , also of Richard William, son of Richard B. Yeats, surgeon of this town who died June 6th, 1852, aged 6 m. loving memory Rich:ard Balderstone Yeats, surgeon of this town, who died April 28th, 1853, aged 32 y-

Yeats Beetham

(N). Sacred memory of Agnes, Widow of Matthew Bell of Kendal And Daughter of William Yeats of Nether Leek. She departed this life on the llth dayof March A.D. 1778 in the 49th years. of her Age. She left an only Child John who erected this Monument to an affectionate Parent.

In memory of Thomas Cartmel of Farleton who died the 1lth August 1785 aged 72; and Mary his wife, elder daughter of William Yeats of Nether Leck who died 21st April 1808 aged 88, and of Thomas Cartmel their eldest son, who died 13th January 1819 aged 66; and Nancy his wife who died 16th April 1844 aged 73, also of Thomas, eldest son of the above named Thomas and Nancy Cartmel who died 23rd September 1832 aged 32; and Anne his only child who died 14th of June 1833 aged 17 m., also George, rector of Pwlly-Crochan, Pembroke, second son of the above named Thomas and Nancy Cartmel who died 24th June 1857 aged 54, and was interred in Pwlly-Crochan churchyard, also of William their third son, who died 2nd January 1856 aged 51.

William Dickson, nephew of John and Sarah Yeats who d. at Berth near Ruthin 19 September . 1847 aged 72, and of Frances Ricketts his wife who died at Ashmeadow House near Beetham, April 1842 aged 59. AJso of Dorothea, youngest daughter of the above who died l Augst. 1834 aged 17 and of their third son Raynes Waite who died at Funchal, Madeira 28 November 1846 aged 31. " And so He Bringeth them to the haven where they would be." This Tablet is raised in affectionate remembrance of by their surviving daughters.

Yeats Beetham

(In. N). John Yeats of Beetham departed this life the 5th of April 1813 having completed his 80th years. He was an indulgent husband, and an affectionate father ; he left behind him to lament his loss a widow with a son and daughter , who caused to be erected this memorial of conjugal and filial regard. Sarah Yeats, relict of the above died the 3rd of September 1822 Aged 81 years. , much lamented by the neighbouring poor. Jennet their elder daughter , and Wife of the Revd. Joseph Thexton, Vicar, died the 19th of February 1823 Aged 40. {Arms. Ar. 3 gates gu. impaling Ar. within 2 bendlets gu. 3 trefoils slipped vert.

{In. W). Sacred memory of Mary younger daughter of John and Sarah Yeats of Beetham. She departed life December 21st 1810 aged 26 years.

(In. W). Near this Place is interred the Body of William Yeats of Nether Leck in the County of Lancaster, who died 31st January 1770 in his 77th years. Also Agnes his Wife, daughter of John Johnson of Bee- thom [altered from Beetham] by whom he had Issue two Sons and three daughters ; She departed this life 12th March 1759 Aged 66. Edward their oldest Son died 16thJune 1734 in the 12th years. of his Age. And Jennet Yeats their daughter 21st March 1775 Aged 49. Arms. Ar. 3 gates gu. impaling 3 spear heads ppr., chief ermine Crest, goat's head or. N .B.- On S. is an old flat and narrow stone; on E. a wooden cross; on W. two old long stones. Another stone with socket is probably the base of a rood.

(E. altar tomb, rail). In memory of Harriett, relict of the late Thomas Pearce James Esqre, of Lydney, Gloucestershire, who departed this life at Parkhead October 4th 1854 aged 50, also in m. William second son of John and Margaretta Yeates, who died December 29th, 1862 aged 33 y
